Job Description

Manager Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving solar power system sales through strategic planning, customer relationships, and market insights. He will collaborate across teams, identify growth opportunities, and analyze performance for continuous enhancement. He will play a pivotal role in elevating brand presence through industry engagement and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to promote and sell solar power systems in off-grid and weak-grid areas.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape, providing insights for effective decision-making.
  • Set ambitious sales targets and work diligently to achieve or surpass them, employing proactive measures to drive sales growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain a sound knowledge of solar power systems, staying updated on technological advancements and industry’s best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development and production to align sales and marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the company’s presence in the solar power systems industry.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, analyze performance data, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance the company’s brand visibility and develop professional relationships.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Electrical Engineer or Master degree holder in Business Administration, with 5-7 years’ experience in sales and marketing of solar products such as Solar tube wells in off grid and weak grid areas.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a strong track record of achieving targets, preferably in the solar power systems industry.
  • Sound understanding of solar power systems, including technical aspects, market dynamics, and customer requirements.
  • Self-driven and motivated to accept challenges, demonstrating resilience and determination to succeed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Keen market awareness and the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of a startup environment and contribute to the growth of the organization.
