Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Corporate Finance to lead the establishment and growth of our Corporate Finance division within the management consulting firm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate finance, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of executing complex financial transactions. This role requires a visionary leader who can effectively build client relationships and manage all aspects of the corporate finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and Setup the Division: Lead the establishment of the Corporate Finance division from inception to operational status, including developing business strategies, operational frameworks, and service offerings.
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and communicate the division’s vision and objectives while ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the consulting firm.
  • Client Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities for growth in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and financial advisory services.
  • Transaction Execution: Oversee the execution of M&A transactions, debt and equity offerings, and other financial services, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analyses to support management decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and valuation assessments.
  • Market Positioning: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the corporate finance industry, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
  • Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of corporate finance professionals to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards while maintaining high ethical standards in all transactions.

Eligibility Criteria

Job Requirements

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focused on M&A or capital markets.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading corporate finance teams and executing complex financial transactions.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically about business challenges and opportunities within the corporate finance sector.
